Tourette Texas, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, supports its state-wide mission through donations, grants and fundraising. Our children’s weekend, du Ballon Rouge, is the only TS camp in the U.S. absolutely free to deserving families; all expenses are paid through the generosity of our donors.

You can help us in our mission of education, support, advocacy and direct client services with a donation to Tourette Texas. We also happily take donations of new items or gift certificates to be used for Silent Auction at either our October golf tournament or January Gala.

Tribute Cards

They are mailed to someone of your choosing – perfect in memory of a loved one or in honor of birthday or special event. This form may be faxed, mailed or emailed. 100% of your donation comes to Tourette Texas. Fill out our online form or download and mail this form to request a tribute card.

Auction Item Donation

These items will be used for Silent Auction at either our Tee-Off for Tourette Charity Golf Tournament in October or our January 2025 Gala Fundraiser at Houston Country Club. We can arrange for pick-up, or the item may be mailed. Click here to donate items and/or gift certificates.

Using your Kroger, Randall's, or Tom Thumb Card

If you purchase groceries at Randalls, Tom Thumb or Kroger, you can help Tourette Texas every time you shop!At Kroger, grab your Kroger Plus card and go to www.krogercommunityrewards.com. Sign in and go to My Account and then to Account Settings. Once there, look to the right and edit “Community Rewards” by putting in #82092 (Tourette Syndrome Association of Texas). This is a NEW system for Kroger, so you MUST re-link this year — they no longer scan barcodes.

This new system is so much easier than you think. However, if you need further assistance, either ask the Kroger Courtesy Booth to help, or click here or further instructions.

At Randalls or Tom Thumb, ask the cashier or Courtesy Booth to link your Rewards Card and future purchases to Tourette Syndrome of Association of Texas at #2493. That’s it! About Tourette’s Syndrome

Tourette’s syndrome is a neurobehavioral (brain-based) movement disorder characterized by motor and vocal tics. Beginning in childhood, it causes those affected to make movements and noises they cannot control. Additionally, many with T.S. also have associated disorders such as obsessive-compulsive disorder, attention-deficit-hyperactivity disorder and/or learning problems. Although medication may help control the symptoms, as of yet there is no cure. Tourette Association of America – Texas Chapter, one of the largest Tourette Association of America Chapters in the country, is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. We raise funds to directly assist Texas area families and children in crisis, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

Tourette Texas Mission Statement

Tourette Association of America – Texas Chapter supports the medical, educational and social needs of Texans with Tourette’s syndrome and their families. Our programs and services include professional counseling; a unique Medical Assistance Program; an annual children’s Camp du Ballon Rouge weekend; educational programs and In-Service presentations; scholarships and direct client services; Support Groups; Youth Ambassador Program; and family events and activities, all of which are free of charge to our families.
